Villas

We have two villas in the middle of our vineyards to rent on a weekly basis (high season) or for a few days (low season).  Amarela is on the river and a few minutes walk from La Rosa.  Lamelas is situated high up above the river with stunning views of the surrounding vineyards and the river below.

Suites

We have four suites available ideal for families or for those wanting a little more space and luxury.  Dona Clara is located in the old house, with a pretty cork verandah overlooking the Douro.  It has steep steps down to the bathroom.  The other three suites have recently been modernised and have sitting out spaces in front of the sitting rooms overlooking the river.

Visits

La Rosa's wine visit

La Rosa is unusual as we are able to show the whole port and wine making process from the vineyard to the final bottle.  Most port houses make their port in the Douro but store and bottle it in Vila Nova da Gaia, in Porto.  We do everything in the Douro.  Not only that, but we are able to show both wine and port making processes side by side.
