Matt Tebbutt is a celebrated British chef and television presenter, best known for hosting BBC’s Saturday Kitchen. He is renowned for his modern, seasonal cooking style and his passion for making great food accessible and exciting.
Ollie Dabbous is a Michelin-starred chef and co-founder of London’s acclaimed restaurant Hide. He is celebrated for his elegant, ingredient-driven cooking and innovative approach to modern British cuisine.
Following in the spirit of successful chef collaborations, Matt Tebbutt and Ollie Dabbous are coming together this autumn for an exclusive gastronomic escape at Quinta de la Rosa in the heart of the Douro Valley.
From 12th to 14th November 2025, the beautiful Quinta de La Rosa winery will host this two-night culinary experience, combining Matt’s love of bold, seasonal flavours with Ollie’s refined, elegant style.
The idea was born over a glass (or two) of wine with Sophia Bergqvist, sixth-generation winemaker and owner of the Quinta. What began as a casual conversation turned into a plan for an immersive few days of food-and-wine showcasing the best of modern British and Portuguese cooking paired with award-winning Portuguese wines.
Whether you're a long-time fan of Matt's hearty, ingredient-led cooking or you’ve experienced Ollie’s meticulous, Michelin-starred plates at Hide, this event promises something truly special: two acclaimed chefs, one unforgettable setting, and a shared passion for food, wine, and great conversation.
Guests will also have time to soak up the breathtaking surroundings of the Douro Valley, with optional activities including scenic walks through the vineyards, riverside relaxation, or simply enjoying a glass of Quinta de La Rosa port on the terrace.
This is more than just a culinary retreat—it’s a rare opportunity to eat, drink, and unwind in the company of two of Britain’s most exciting chefs, in one of Portugal’s most picturesque wine estates alongside whilst being hosted by the family themselves.

In the evening, join Pedro Cardoso for a welcome aperitif, followed by a traditional Portuguese dinner served in the beautiful, rustic barrel room surrounded by Quinta de la Rosa ports. Chef Cardoso will prepare a meal showcasing the best of local Portuguese cuisine, each dish will be paired with La Rosa wines, setting the scene for a relaxed and delicious few days ahead. Matt and Ollie will be joining for dinner, chatting with guests and sharing the stories behind their great dishes.
