Quinta de la Rosa is built on the side of a hill with steep steps connecting the different levels so is unsuitable for people with mobility problems. However we do have a room which can be accessed directly from a car - Dona Candida. This room has flat access and space within the room for a wheelchair. The bathroom has a flat access shower.
From Dona Candida there is direct access along the terrace and via a ramp to the restaurant where breakfast is served as well as lunches, tapas and dinners.
The restaurant is accessible by a lift which takes guests down to the eating area. There is an accessible bathroom above the restaurant also connected by the lift.
Apart from Dona Candida, most rooms have some stairs or steps. The Quinta rooms in the old part of the house have even more, so please make sure you let us know if you have accessibility issues when booking your room.
In 2017 Quinta de la Rosa improved its accessibility from support from the Turismo de Portugal within "O Programa Volorizar - Linha de Apoio ao Turismo Aessível"
